Lucille Orilla Stillions God in his providence has called from our midst little Lucille Orilla Stillions to a brighter and better sphere. She was a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Clarence Stillions. She was born October 5th, 1913, and departed this life Friday evening, January 11th, aged four years, three months and six days. Her death came as a great shock as she was sick but a few days, but had been a sufferer of asthma during her short life. The little sufferer is not dead, but sleeping, and her sleeping is a cessation of pain and her vocation henceforth is with the angels, attuning her harp to sing sweetest songs to Heaven's King, and to come to earth with the angels as ministering spirits to charm the souls and woo the hearts of father and mother and sister; to bring them to Jesus and join their affections to the company of Heaven. Everything that loving hands could do was done to relieve the little sufferer, but God called her. She was a bright and loving child and will be greatly missed. Everyone always had a word and smile for Lucille, and especially will she be missed in the home. She was only a fair bud on earth to bloom in Heaven. Lucille is free from the toils and cares of this world and is resting in the arms of Jesus. The funeral services were conducted by Rev. Elliot at the M. E. Church, Sunday at 12 o'clock after which the casket containing the remains was conveyed by four little girls who acted as pall bearers. They were Lola Bryant, Martha Long, Lillian and Mildred Hays. The remains were interred in the Carlisle cemetery. The bereaved parents and little sister, Margaret, have the sympathy of the entire community in their sad bereavement.
