FAMILY MILITARY 
Thank you from the bottom of my heart for your loyal service. I am one of many who enjoy, every day, the freedoms that Veterans have preserved for us by giving up there own personal freedoms to serve for our Country.
I want to recognize the dedicated individuals of our families that have served unselfishly to protect all of us so that we may have freedom.
 George Floyd Wheeler PVT Co. F 46 Infantry and served in World War One
 George T. Shinn
PFC in 207 AAF Base Unit from August 27, 1942 to July 6, 1945. Entered in Fort Thomas, Kentucky. Electrician-American Theater Ribbon, European African Middle Eastern Ribbon, Good Conduct Medal, Distinguished Unit badge, World War II Victory Medal. Aircraft Warning School at Camp Crowder, Mo.

Henry Lee Shinn
Henry served in the South Pacific in the US Navy on the USS Pickens Ship

Arnold W. Shinn
Served in the US Army. He served at Walter Reed Hospital.
 Robert LeeRoy Shinn
Served in the US Army. USAR Armor Division, Tank Co. 14th Inf. Regt. He served from Jan. 16, 1952 through Dec. 24, 1953. He also served six years in the reserves ending Jan. 1960. He had a Honorable Discharge. Honors – Combat Infantry Badge, Good Conduct Medal, United Nations Service Medal, Korean Service Ribbon with two Bronze Stars.
 Robert Shinn Jr.
Joined the US Army in 1982 and received basic training at Fort Dix, NJ. He received training in Satellite Communications at Fort Gordon, Ga. And worked as a Satellite Communications Repairman at Camp Roberts, Ca. He was promoted to Satellite Network Controller in 1984. He received 2 Army Achievement Awards for his work controlling Satellite networks for the Department of Defense. He was honorably discharged in October 1986.
 Darrin Lee Shinn
Joined the US Marine Corps and became a Corporal. He enlisted and had basic training in Paris Island, S.C. He traveled around the world, in the jungles of Panama, in Italy and Greece. He served from May 22, 1986 to Feb. 1990. Served inactive reserves until May 1994. Medals included US Marine Corps Annual Rifle Squad Competition Badge, Rifle Expert Badge, Overseas Badge with Merit, Foreign Country Badge, Fidelity Zeal Obedience Badge and a Navy Attachment Medal.

Arnold Wesley Shinn
Joined the US Army and served four years of active duty service from 1975 – 1979.
Served with the Second Armor Division attached to the Infantry. He also completed 19 years with the United States Army Reserves as a Combat Engineer. He retired with 23 years of active and reserve service in August of 1999.
