Services will be 1 p.m. Friday at Thorn-Black Funeral Home, Cambridge, for Clifford R. "Skip" Potts, 77, of Byesville, who died Tuesday (July 5, 2005) at his home, following two months in hospice care.
The Rev. Francis LaFollette will officiate. Burial will be in Northwood Cemetery.
Friends may call from 7-9 p.m. today (Wednesday) and from 2-4 and 7-9 Thursday at the funeral home.
He was born Nov. 30, 1927, in Cambridge, son of the late Ross A. Potts and Mildred F. (Ogle) Potts.
Mr. Potts retired from the former Cambridge State Hospital, following 30 years of service, and was a painter.
He was a member of First Church of God, Zanesville.
He leaves his wife, Mary L. (Stillion) Potts of the home, whom he married July 15, 1956; a daughter, Megan Christine Potts of Florida; a brother, David Plank of Rockport, Texas; and numerous nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins
